Questions about Debt consolidation programs.?

I’ve got about ,500-2,000 dollars worth of debt I need to get rid of. I’ve been paying it for a while, and I seem to be getting nowhere. Has anyone ever used a debt consolidation program? If so, was it effective? Were there any consequences? I’d like some input! http://bit.ly/ily0HC
